Peso Kg. 10,800 Bella edizione napoletana del 1782 di questa interessante opera di Bonaventure Racine (1708-1755) ecclesiastico e storico francese. racine fu perseguitato in quanto considerato seguace delle dottrine gianseniste e i suoi volumi messi all'indice. L'opera è composta da venti tomi legati insieme in dieci volumi ed è completa. L'autore descrive la storia della Chiesa dal I secolo fino al XVII compreso.<BR>Tavola cronologica in ogni tomo. Frontespizio del primo tomo in rosso e nero. Bella marca editoriale in ogni tomo: Fenice che emerge dalle fiamme e motto "post fata resurgo".<BR>Tagli azzurri marmorizzati. In ottime condizioni e completo. Copertina in mezza pelle ottocentesca a quattro nervi con titolo e ricche decorazioni in oro al dorso in ottime condizioni generali con lievi usure ai margini e dorso. Legatura in ottime condizioni. Pagine in buone condizioni con rare fioriture. Buco a pag. 143 del tomo nono con perdita di testo per un difetto di stampa. Lievi gore d'umidità al margine superiore del tomo XV. Ultima carta bianca mancante al tomo VIII. Beautiful neapolitan edition of 1782 of this interesting work by Bonaventure Racine (1708-1755) french churchman and historian. Racine was persecuted because follower of Jansenius ideas and his volumes put into index. The work is made up of twenty tomes bound together in ten volumes and it is complete. The author describes the history of Church from I century until XVII century included.<BR>Chronological chart in each tome. Title page of the first tome in red and black carachter. Beautiful editorial mark in each tome: Fenice che emerge dalle fiamme e motto "post fata resurgo".<BR>Light blue external edges of pages. In very good conditions and complete. Half leather cover with four nerfs with rich golden title and decorations in very good conditions slightly worn in the edges and spine. Binding in very good conditions. Pages in very good conditions with occasional foxings. Little hole in pag. 143 of tome IX with loss of text for a fault in printing. Slight water stain in the upper edge of tome XV. Last blank page in tomo VIII is missing.
