Parigi, Presso Baudry, Libreria Europea, 1836. Quatre volumes in-8, débutant chacun par (2) ff. [faux-titre « Collezione » /Imprimeur, titre], XXVI pp. (faux-titre particulier]- 474, 488, 473-(1) et 496 pp., demi-chagrin prune, dos à nerfs orné de filets, de caissons décorés, du titre et de la tomaison dorés (reliure ancienne postérieure ; infimes traces de frottements sur les coupes et les coins, dont un réparé ; à l’intérieur, rousseurs plus ou moins éparses, ponctuellement plus importantes, se transformant parfois quelques taches marginales brunes ; exemplaire décoratif).
Edition typographique, ornée seulement, en frontispice du premier volume, du portrait de l’auteur (rousseurs), gravé par Geoffroy. Réédition, en langue italienne, des quarante-six chants du « Roland furieux » œuvre majeure de la Renaissance italienne. En fin du dernier volume, les VII « Satire », avec faux-titre particulier, occupent les pp. 386-484 sont suivies de « tre Sonetti (…) su la chioma recisa », avec faux-titre particulier (pp. 485-490), absents au titre. Belle édition, imprimée par Crapelet, débutant par une « Vita de Ludovico Ariosto, scritta dal Dottor BAROTTI » (pp. I-XX), suivie d’une « Idea del Poema dell’ Orlando furioso, scritta dall’editore » », avec « varie lezioni » (variantes) et « Annotazioni », le tout par Antonio BUTTURA (1771-1832), qui fut un temps abbé, avant de devenir un farouche « jacobin » ; naturalisé français, devint adulateur et laudateur de Napoléon (cf. son « Ode à Napoléon le Grand », 1811) ; il a donné des éditions annotées des classiques italiens. De la « Collezione de’ Migliori autori italiani antichi e moderni », vol. VIII-XI. Autres photographies sur simple demande ; l’ouvrage est garanti complet ; état, collation et pagination strictement conformes à la description donnée ci-dessus. Concernant les rares exemplaires affichés sur un site concurrent, « yzlivre »…, on n’échappe pas à la formule bien française : « état d’usage » ; les rousseurs sont monnaie courante (merveilles des traductions automatiques : papier très tacheté (Espagne) et, (Italie), ce poétique « quelques floraisons sporadiques »)[sur des descriptions anciennes]. Le poids des mots, le choc des photos : un libraire yankee, sous l’appellation « Very Good Condition » décrit un exemplaire délabré, accompagné d’une photo montrant un ensemble peu ragoûtant.
