With a small stamp on the front cover. Very long unbroken run of this interesting German literature periodical of the Nazi period.The E.S.V. was founded in 1941 during the Grossdeutscher Dichtertreffen in Weimar. Hans Carossa was the first president. Its secretary was Carl Rothe (1900-1970). Wilhelm Ruoff became editor-in-chief of their publication : Europäische Literatur . The publication contains literary contributions of European writers of France, Denmark, Rumania; Bulgaria;Flanders (Belgium) , Hungary, also at the end publicity leaves promoting books from e.g. The N.S.D.A.P. publishers. Rare, no copy listed in the O.C.L.C. catalogue."
