A detached sheet features a penned message in Dutch signed Ivan Beek. An illustrated picture on the title page, foreword, table of contents on the beginning of the book. Three color plates throughout.

This is "an entertaining story for children of school age." Some dampening on the paper on the second part of the book with no foxing or markings, color plates are crisp, sturdy binding. A good copy.
