Two heavy in-folio volumes of 37 x 28 cm, (xlvii) 249 + (viii) 181 pp. Hardbound, no DJ as issued, black and orange cloth binding with Bradel-style hinges. The first volume contains the author's text, with 83 drawings by Lindsley F. Hall, the second volume contains plates including many folding ones. This is NOT an ex-library set. As such, the book is in good condition and exempt from the library markings. The first volume features a table of contents at the beginning.

A bit of wear and tear on the spines and edges, foxing on the front flyleafs, otherwise in very good condition. Clean, crisp, with sturdy bindings.
