(with his signature and stamp), text is clean and bright except for few occasional foxing, This work was compiled by Porphyrius Uspenskij during his visit at the Saint Catherine's Monastery on Mount Sinai at around 1850 and as such it is the first science-based description of one of the world's oldest library collections, offering detailed descriptions of physical condition, script and textual context of the manuscripts.
