(i.e. 64 + 542pp.), illustrated with 2 woodcuts (one at the end of the table & one large vignet depicting a historical scene, on the first page of the text), woodcut initials, last leaf (with printer's device) missing, original title page missing and replaced by a 18th century neat manuscript copy and with mention of "Duc de Valentinois" (Duke of Valentinois, a title of nobility created a.o. for the Princes of Monaco in the 17th and 18th cy.), 18th century old gilt French citron morocco (gilt title and decorations on spine, tailcap missing), all edges gilt, marbled endpapers, text is clean and bright, [This curious work was originally written in the 13th century, and was first published in 1486. It is a mediaeval encyclopedia in the form of a dialogus between the christian philosopher Sidrac and king Boctus of Bactria, and deals with religion, ethics, medicine, law, the government of princes, astronomy and astrology], a good copy of this scarce post-incunable, G121044‎
