‎ Remarkable collection of garden designs by the Brussels architect Eduard de Martelaere. The designs are generally made on a rather large scale and have a very nice coloured finishing. All the flowers, shrubs & trees, ponds & fountains are finely rendered. It is clear that the prospective customer was to receive an precise idea from this drawings of what his garden, flowering in midsummer, would look like. The overall quality of the drawings is good although some have repaired tears. Most of them show signs of folding (creases) but are now kept flat.‎
