S.l. s.d. (Paris, before 1827 ?), in-folio, 33,5 cm, album with 91 engraved plates (numbered 2 - >92), bound in contemporary green half roan, boards covered with marbled paper. Some wear at binding but still a good copy with a good/fine interior. This is a copy of an early trade catalogue of architectural decorative artefacts. Each plate shows several items. The plate numbered 1 is missing (replaced with a facsimile). Often the title plate was removed so that prospective buyers (users of the catalogue) could not bypass the intermediate trading company. This catalogue is the second edition (the first was by Beuchat, 1812-1813). It was extrended with 25 plates. The facsimile title pertains to the first edition by Beuchat. Many of the decorative elements are in the Premier Empire style. .Plate 8, 9 and 34 are signed: ''Normand fils del. &sc. .Plate 31 and Plate 33 are signed and dated in the plate: ''A.P. Giraud, / 22 juillet 1813 / 1er mai 1813''. The plates are finely engraved and printed. We add the very rare price list of this catalogue. As with the album the name ''Heiligenthal'' has been removed ( carefully cut out and replaced with blank stroke of paper. The list is a (16) nn pp booklet (27,5 x 23,5 cm). It is dated 1st jan. 1823 Berlin Ornamentstich Katalog N° 1388.(for the catalogue). The pricelist, extremely rare could not be found in the usual bibliographies..
