‎ Paris, Apud Sebastianum Nivellium, sub Ciconiis, via Iacobaea, printed by Johannes Benenatus (colophon), 1569, in-folio, (48)nn pp + 943 pp ( complete), bound in contemporary full calf, gilt supra libro on both covers, Leather with serious wear, spine repaired with a strip of leather, corners bumped and with loss of leather. Binding still sound and the book with a fine interior. Ex-library with a circular rubber stamp of a Roman Catholic institute on the title page. Adams G1136. Not in USTC (february 2020). The complete works of Gregory of Nyssa, later archbischop of Constantinople, in a new translation into Latin by Jacques de Billy (1535 - 1581). The book was printed by Joannes Benenatus. Our copy has the title page for Sebastian Nivelle. Most copies have the title page '' Claude Fremy'', who also owned the privilegium.‎
