(Complete). Bound in contemporary half vellum, boards covered with marbled paper. Marbled paper worn and with traces of use, binding sound, interior fine, still a very good copy in a contemporary binding. First edition (see Catalogue Lesure pp: 358). The composer was music director in the service of Mad. de Pompadour ( for her theatre '' Théâtre des Petits-Cabinets ''. He later became also tutor for harp music to queen Marie-Antoinette.
