Some small damage by insects at the binding but still a fine copy.with a near spotless interior. Book in French. Livre en français. Fine copy of the first edition of this famous claim to independance of the Dutch people. In 1787 the Dutch stadhouder Willem V had retaken the power of the Dutch Republic with the help of Fredrick William of Prussia.
