The province of Katanga was incorporated in the Congo Free State in 1891 and was governed by the '' Comité Spécial du Katanga '' until it was taken over by the Belgian Gouvernment on September 1st 1910. Early, probably first, study on the commercial and economical possibilities of Katanga. Of the three chapers one is entirely devoted to the influence of Rhodesia in Katanga. Copper and diamonds are not in sight yet. Rare .
