‎A posthumous work, edited by Jacob Samuel Wyttenbach from material gathered by Haller for a new edition of his work «Historia stirpium indigenarum Helvetiae» (1768). The splendid copperplates show accurate illustrations of Swiss plants around the middle of the 18th century. Göttingen A. von Haller, 1977-78), No. 43. Nissen BBI 775 (mentions only 48 plates); Plesch/Sotheby 316; Pritzel 3729; Berner TB (1853), 317 (to Wyttenbach); vgl. Studer, Geschichte der physischen Geographie der Schweiz (1863), 395. Image disp.‎
