Bound in full blue coloured roan, gilt title in English and Chinese on front cover, within a double gilt fillet. binding with wear at extremeties, upper joint with a split of ca. 3 cm at the lower end.Interiro fine. On the first paste down a small ticket from ''Ching-Foong '' Printing and Bookbinding Office, Szechuen Road Shangai. Rare copy of the original first Anglo-Chinese centennial calender. According to Cordier (Vol. I , col. 568) only 500 copies of this book were printed and most were destroyed during a fire in 1873 at the printing house '' Chin-Foong ''..‎
