(ca. 1570) original engraving 210 x 285 mm, printed on paper, tipped on to old paper support, engraved by Goltzius, designed by Maerten de Vos. Caption underneath reads '' Ipse redemptoris pandens oracula Christi...''. This print formed part of suite of 12 on the martyrdom of the 12 Apostles. Print with margins cut just near the plate, Numbered ''3'' in the plate. In the centre of the plate a black line which indicates that the copper plate was severly damaged.
