Bound in uniform half vellum, raised gilt spine, very fine copies notwithstanding some tiny spots at some endpapers. Printed in 490 copies. This is copy 295. Well illustrated study on the woodblocks used and created in Girona from the 17th -19th century, mostly of Roman Catholic nature. The illustrations comprise initials, symbols, borders, vignettes, portraits, coat of arms, fleurons. The woodcuts were used by the Girona printers Carreras and this study is a fine survey of the art of woodcut illustration in Catalonia (Spain)."‎
