‎" Basle ( Basel ), no publisher, printed by Schweighauser with the types of Guillaume Haas, 1776-78. In-folio, engraved title-page and dedication to Gustave III of Sweden, 40 engraved plates depicting medals + xxxiv pp + 64 pp, with headpiece, woodcut tail-pieces and ornaments. Bound in later full leather with rich gilt ornament rectangle on the front and back cover, smooth decorated spine with title label, marbled end-papers, edges painted yellow, very good preserved binding, interior with some slight fxing or browning of some pages, still a very handsome copy. Mechel's catalogue of the collection of Hedlinger (1691-1771). Most of the collection comprised Swedish examples, but there are also Russian, Danish, Prussian and English medals. See Brunet III, 77.
