Each part contains the 12 quartets numbered I- XII (KV 387 - 421 - 458 - 428 - 464 - 465 - 499 - 575 -589 - 590 - 157 - 159a (160)). The scores have been bound in without a title, at the lower margin left of each first page is printed '' M. Q. I...'' ( Mozart Quatuors I...). The scores are printed in woodcut, bound in contemporary half leather, with green title label on marbled front cover, bindings seriously worn, some slight browning at a few pages.
