Galle after drawings by Jacques Francquart. contemporary full leather, fine gilt decorated spine, marbled endpapers, blue edges. (Some wear at 2 corners, upper joint split over 3 cm, but still a good/fine copy). According to the title-page, Curtius belonged to the same order and was a historiographer and ""diffinitor generalis"". Corneille de Corte, Brussels ca 1590-1638, was also counsellor to Ferdinand II.
