Bruxelles, 1879, N.Lenaert, in-folio, ca. 500 nn pp with full page photo plates h.t., depicting paintings, works of art but also machines and other artefacts, views of the exhibtion etc. Bund in blue publisher's cloth with gilt decoration. Decoration completely faded, binding worn and dustsoiled. Interior also with some (minor) dustsoiling. Album which gives interesting information on Belgian artists, companies and manufacturers participating in the Paris Fair of 1878. Text in French. The full page plates were made by J. Maes of Antwerp and are an early example of the photolithographical process.
