Paris, au Bureau du Journal, format in-8° (20,5 x 12,8 cm) from 1831 onwards format in-4° (26 x 20,5 cm).. Ca. 400-500 pp/year, with folding plates with scoresmusic. First series (vols. 1-6) bound in half-yearly volumes, Second series (vols 7-10) bound in 4 months volumes. Third series (vols 11-15)( larger format) bound in yearly vols. The period covered is from Issue 1 (February 1827) until Issue 52 , December 1835). Missing is volume 14 (Febr. 1834 - January 1835). These are original issues which were distributed via the postal services, they carry tax stamps, folds in the middle, some thumbing or stains. Volume 13 shows some waterdtains and marginal worming at the first 60 pp. The inner joint of its binding is also broken. The volumes are uniformly bound in boards covered with marbled paper. First 5 volumes with gilt lettering on smooth spine. Further with handwritten title labels on spine. Binding show some wear, but generally in good condition. Apart from the missing volume 14 this is the complete run of this musical periodical (vols 1 -15). After vol. 15 it merged with the ''Gazette Musical de Paris''. Very rare. Série complète (sauf le volume 14) en édition originale de cette revue musicale rédigé par Fétis. Reliure uniforme , plats couverts de papier marbré. Les numéros ont été relié après qu'ils ont couru à la poste. Ils montrent des plis, et des cachets de taxe. L'état général est bon mais il y a des rousseurs. Le volume 13 a le mors fendu et des travail de vers marginal dans les 60 premières pages..
