Venetia, dal Sarzina, 1625, in-4°, 23,5 x 17 cm, copper engraved title page + (21) pp + 255 pp with 20 full page coper engravings printed on recto only, contemporary full vellum binding. Nice copy. Early edition of one of the most famous epic poems in European literature, entirely printed in italic. The plates are by Iacomo and Francesco Valegio, some are signed in the plate. (Not in Graesse, who notes a 1611 edition with only 6 engravings). Ex-libris Nordkirchen (Duke of Arenberg).
