(12) nn pp + 580 pp + (112)(index), bound in contemporary half vellum with marbled boards, ex-library, with a small stamp on the half-tile and a small label on the vellum spine. Binding with traces of use but still a fine/good copy. B.C.N.I. N° 14436 ; SB-Antwerpen F 208377. Henricus Canisius was born in 's Hertogenbosch and studied at the Douai college ( Northern France). He resided for some time in Louvain as prior of the Augustinian convent."‎

Bib. Catholica Neerlandica Impressa no.14436, [CANISIUS Henricus, born in 's-Hertogenbosch (1624), died in Antwerp (1689), entered the Augustinian order in Antwerp in 1640, studied theology most probably in Leuven, and became prior of several Augustinian monasteries in the Southern Netherlands], R96633‎
