"5. Antwerpen, Joannes Baptist Verdussen, 1685, in-folio, 34 x 22 cm, uncut copy, title printed in red and black, with engraved vignet, engraved frontispiece [A.Voet junior]. (12) nn pp + 580 pp + (112)(index), bound in contemporary half vellum with marbled boards, ex-library, with a small stamp on the half-tile and a small label on the vellum spine. Binding with traces of use but still a fine/good copy. B.C.N.I. N° 14436 ; SB-Antwerpen F 208377. Henricus Canisius was born in 's Hertogenbosch and studied at the Douai college ( Northern France). He resided for some time in Louvain as prior of the Augustinian convent."
