De Witte parish priest and deacon in Mechelen wrote this jansenist pamphlet against L.C.D. (?). On de Witte see also (Le Clerc J.) Idée de la vie et des écrits de M.G. De Witte, Rome (Amsterdam, Utrecht ?), 1756.
