The text leaves slightly browned, some ties of the portfolio worn or missing, a few plates with tiny marginal stains or spot but a fine copy. Scarce complete copy of this charming colorlithographic publication on garden architecture. Victor Petit was a follower of Lemercier, France's most succesfull colorlithographer and he used his process to obtain these striking color lithographs."‎
