With numerous black/white illustrations of arms . Bound in contemporary uniform red half morocco, top edges gilt, raised spines with gilt lettering. Marbled endpapers. Original covers preserved. Fine copies with only minimal wear at the bindings. Loosely inserted is a correspondance from the first owner (not identified) with e.g. 3 holograph letters of Guigard and also three coloured designs of arms; and a letter from L. Douët D'Arcy. Exemplaire très bien relié de la seconde édition, enrichi avec e.a. 3 lettres originales de l'auteur concernant des armes décrits dans son livre.."
