Toselli Angelo. Panorama of St. Petersburg 1820./Tozelli Anzhelo. Panorama Peterburga 1820 goda. Toselli Angelo (circa 1765-1827?), an Italian artist, set designer and architect, master of the lead. In 1816, he was invited to Russia by the Imperial Theatres Directorate. Arrived in St. Petersburg in 1816 (according to other sources, in 1817). He served as a decorator at the Imperial Theatres, created scenery for Didlos ballet productions at the Bolshoi Theatre.
