This is a bibliophile publication, illustrated with color prints (eaux-fortes en couleurs) by the artist Zig Brunner, one of the notable French graphic artists of the first half of the twentieth century known for his work for limited editions of Jean Laurent (1855-1906), the poet, novelist and chronicler of the Paris Bohemia, a representative of the Decadent movement, and a contemporary of Oscar Wilde and Joris-Karl Huismans.
