Tintoretto. Monograph. Author B.R. WINNER/Tintoretto. Monografiya. Avtor B.R. Vinner Jacopo Robusti, better known as Tintoretto (1518-1594), a painter at the Venetian School of the Late Renaissance. He is believed to have studied with Titian. Success came to Tintoretto in 1548, and from then until his death in 1594 he led a quiet but active life in Venice, working on the decoration of churches and public buildings.
