The present edition is printed by order of the Laboratory for the Art of Light and Color. The original etchings on the tree by G. I. Gidoni are indicative sketches for the production. The light and color batches for Pushkins works by the artist Grigory Iosifovich Gidoni (1885-1937) were supposed to be performed on an electric light and color apparatus called Photo Chromo Piccolo Primo for the lighting orchestra (patented in 1925) and with the help of a distribution board (the authors certificate for the invention was obtained in 1931).
