Revolutions broke out in both countries as a result of which Nicholas II and his family were killed and Wilhelm II went into exile in Holland. The correspondence of the emperors Nicholas II and Wilhelm II is printed in Russian translation from English originals and hand-written copies stored in the State Archive of the RSFSR.
