Savina was also influenced by the entertainer and actor P.M. Medvedev with whose troupe the actress visited Kazan Saratov and Orla (until 1872). She played in vaudeville operettas and comedies. Savina was the leading actress of the Saratov Theatre from 1873. In 1874 she arrived in St. Petersburg where after a brilliant debut on the stage of the Noble Assembly she was invited to the Alexandrinsky Theatre.
