The collection of materials is published by the Provisional Commission for the Review of Ancient Acts under the Kyiv Podolsk and Volyn General Governor which was chaired by Mikhail Vladimirovich Yuzefovich (1802-1889) Assistant Trustee of the Kyiv Training District a fighter for the Russian cause in Ukraine against Polish separatists and Ukrainian autocrats.
