‎Tours Chez O. Lecesne 1844 Première édition. Très bel exemplaire de ce guide illustré. Couverture originale en papier vert, avec texte en noir. Le dos a été légèrement renforcé et il y a une étiquette d'étagère, mais à part cela, le livre ne présente qu'un léger noircissement. Il y a une gravure en frontispice représentant les deux tours de la cathédrale, qui est encore aujourd'hui un monument important. Deux autres gravures et une carte dépliante. Les gravures sont en très bon état. Les pages de texte sont quelque peu rouillées, mais restent lisibles. Dans l'ensemble, un exemplaire correct. 18 cm x 11,5 cm. 330 pages d'illustrations, carte dépliante. Conforme à WorldCat / OCLC : 30929885.‎

‎First edition. A very nice copy of this illustrated guide. Original green paper covers, with black text. There has been some reinforcement to the spine and there is a shelf label*, but otherwise with only slight darkening. There is a frontis engraving to the two towers of the Cathedral, which is still al major landmark today. Two further engravings and a folding map. The engravings are in very good condition. The text pages are somewhat foxed, but still legible. Overall a decent copy. 18cm x 11.5cm. 330 pages illustrations, folded map. Conforms to WorldCat / OCLC: 30929885. * label for the bibliothèque du fonds Bergevin to the top of the front cover. Taking its name from the two leading figures of the Bergevin family, Louis-Athanase Bergevin (1753-1832) and his son Louis-Catherine (1798-1876), were magistrates from Blois and major landowners in Saint-Gervais-la-Forêt. The collection was dispersed at auction in Véndome in 2022. .‎
