Il est difficile de trouver un bel exemplaire de ce livre sur les pièces mobiles en parfait état de fonctionnement. Nous avons ici une couverture propre et soignée (carte recouverte de papier avec un dos et des coins en tissu bleu). Il y a un peu de bosses et d'usure sur les bords des planches seulement. À l'intérieur, le livre est presque impeccable. La page de titre rose porte une date soignée sur le bord supérieur. Non paginé, mais 30 pages (y compris le titre et le colophon), dont 13 sont des textes calligraphiés décorés en allemand. Sept sont des illustrations pleine page à l'aquarelle et sept sont des aquarelles avec des parties mobiles et des onglets (souvent plusieurs onglets mobiles par page). Fait inhabituel, tous les onglets fonctionnent et sont en bon état, même s'ils sont légèrement rigides. Ce livre pour enfants a été produit dans le cadre de la méthode d'éducation Rudolf Steiner. (Cette méthode vise le développement holistique, la créativité et l'apprentissage adapté à l'âge, afin de nourrir les aspects intellectuels, émotionnels, physiques et spirituels de chaque enfant). L'éditeur faisait partie du mouvement des écoles Waldorf, l'un des premiers représentants de l'approche de Steiner, et est toujours actif avec plus de 1 100 écoles dans le monde. 30cm x 38cm. ‎A beautiful copy of this first edition. A beautiful German rendition of Snow White. It is hard to find a nice copy of this moving parts book in full, clean working condition. Here we have clean and tidy covers (paper covered card with a blue cloth spine and corners). There is a little bumping and edgewear to the boards only. Inside, the book is almost immaculate. Pink title page has a neat date to the top edge. Unpaginated but 30 pages (including title and colophon), of which 13 are decorated calligraphic text in German. Seven are full page water colour illustrations and seven are water colours with moving parts and tabs (often several moving tabs per page). Unusually, all of the tabs are working and in good order, if fractionally stiff. This children's book was produced to work with the Rudolf Steiner method of education. (This attempts holistic development, creativity, and age-appropriate learning, aiming to nurture the intellectual, emotional, physical, and spiritual aspects of each child). The publisher was part of the Waldorf schools movement, one of the first exponents of Steiner's approach, and still active with over 1,100 schools worldwide. 30cm x 38cm.
