‎Paris Cartiel-Marteau & Boudin 1890 Un bel ensemble de cartes de Tarot françaises de la fin du XIXème siècle. 32 cartes (jeu complet) avec une illustration et la carte à jouer qu'elles représentent dans le coin supérieur gauche. Numérotées en haut à droite. La carte est nommée et porte l'empreinte de Grimaud au bas de la carte. Ces cartes portent le timbre fiscal français de la carte 16 (la carte de l'argent ou de la monnaie). Bien que difficile à distinguer, la date d'imposition est le 12 avril 1886 ou 1890. Cette série est titrée uniquement en français et semble avoir été émise en même temps qu'une série dont les titres apparaissent à la fois en français et en anglais. Pas de boîte. Les cartes présentent des signes de manipulation, avec quelques chocs sur les bords, de légères marques et décolorations, mais elles sont généralement en très bon état, authentiques. La dernière carte présente un pli à l'endroit où elle a été pliée à un moment donné. Motif de lignes au verso de la carte. Un ensemble complet et rare. Au moment de l'établissement de la liste, nous n'avons trouvé qu'une seule autre série de cette édition / série de cartes. Il existe une édition moderne de ce jeu, qui comprend une carte vierge - mais cela ne semble pas avoir été le cas dans la version originale, car tous les jeux que nous avons trouvés étaient complets avec 32 cartes. 110 x 70 mm (4Œ x 2Ÿ pouces). ‎A nice set of late Nineteenth Century French Tarot cards. 32 Cards (Complete set) with an illustration, and the playing card they represent in the top left corner. Numbered in the top right. The card is named, and with the Grimaud imprint to the bottom of the card. These bear the French tax stamp to Card 16 (appropriately the card for silver or money). Although hard to make out, the tax date is either 12th April 1886 or 1890. This set is titled only in French, and seems to have been issued at the same time as a set where the titles appear in both French and English. No box. The cards show signs of handling, with a little edge bumping, and slight marking, discolouration, but generally in very good, authentic condition. The final card has a crease where it has been bent at some point. Pattern of lines to the rear of the card. A complete and scarce set. At the time of listing, we can only find one other set of this edition / card set. There is a modern edition of this set, which includes a blank card - but this does not seem to have been in the original version, as all sets we have found have been complete with 32 cards. 110 by 70mm (4Œ by 2Ÿ inches).
