‎Miniature sur vélin représentant Saint Jean dans l'île de Patmos‎

‎ 1480 circa 1480, Miniature sur vélin 11,4 x 7,5cm. ‎

‎Saint Jean est représenté accompagné de l'aigle, rédigeant l'évangile sur un rouleau. Une Vierge en majesté, portant l'enfant Jésus dans les bras, apparaît en haut de l'image.Cette miniature, d'une délicatesse exceptionnelle, tant pour le traitement des paysages que pour le rendu du drapé, relève de l'école tourangelle. La palette joue sur les dégradés de bleu pour donner une profondeur à la composition, sur laquelle se place l'aigle, ici représenté les ailes éployées, finement rehaussé de traits d'or.L'onctuosité des rochers, répondant à la grande finesse du traitement de Saint Jean, donne à l'ensemble une grande élégance.La miniature a été placée au XIXè s. sur un support doré, et encadré sur un fond de velours ancien rouge. ‎

‎, , 1899-1903. Album in-4 de 47 feuillets, montés sur onglet, percaline bordeaux, titre doré sur les plats dans un double encadement à froid, dos lisse muet (atelier d'Henri Prat, relieur-doreur de Lyon). ‎

‎Unique album où sont rassemblés 24 certificats manuscrits contrecollés sur papier fort, retraçant la carrière de l'enfant prodige, la jeune Rosa. Le premier plat porte : Rosa Dulché artiste miniature. Enfant prodige de Paris. Certificats. On apprend que Rosa Dulché, chanteuse, danseuse et musicienne âgée de 8 ans, se produisait en public accompagnée de son père guitariste, ancien musicien de régiment, et de sa soeur Marguerite, 14 ans, violoniste. La troupe portait le nom de « Tournée Kleine - Les petits Prodiges - Direction Dulché ».La troupe se produisait dans les Grands Hôtels, les Cafés, les Casinos de Nice, Antibes, Saint-Raphaël, Vichy, les villes de Laon, Vernon, Hirson, Louviers, Breteuil, Saint-Lunaire, Charly-sur Marne, au Cercle militaire de Laon, à Toulon où les navires de guerre faisaient escale, sur le croiseur le Pothuau, le cuirassé le Neptune, le vaisseau le Calédonien.Les certificats sur papier à en-tête ou cachets signés par les directeurs et les officiers expriment l'enthousiasme et l'admiration que suscitait l'enfant prodige :« Je recommande à Monsieur le directeur et administrateur Melle Rose Dulché artiste miniature, chantant très bien, bonne diction. Nous l'avons gardé sept jours ici (...) elle a eu un très grand succès d'ailleurs très mérité » (A. Pic, Kursaal et Jardin de Vichy, 7 septembre 1903) ; « Je soussigné certifie que la famille Kleine à donné une soirée au Grand Hôtel des Pamiers à Nice et qu'ils ont obtenu un grand succès et la satisfaction générale des clients (18 mars 1900) » ; « le capitaine de Frégate officier en second du Neptune certifie que Monsieur Dulché a donné avec le concours de ses deux fillettes une séance de chant (...) l'équipage en a été très satisfait ». Cuirassé le Neptune, « Mlles Marguerite et Rose sont charmantes de grâce et leurs costumes sont irréprochables et Mlle Rose surtout est surprenante pour son âge c'est vraiment un petit prodige » (N. Guignon, Grand Café de Paris, Louviers, mars 1901) ; « Je certifie avoir engagé la troupe Dulché-Kleine en qualité d'artiste lyrique. Cette petite famille a mérité tous les éloges (...) en particulier la petite Rosa qui pour son âge (8 ans) est véritablement un phénomène artistique... » (E. ‎ Miniature italienne sur vélin, XIVe siècleBelle et fraîche miniature (à vue : 7 x 7 cm) extraite d’un antiphonaire italien. Italie du Nord, dernier tiers du XIVe siècle. Le personnage se situe dans une grande initiale très abondamment rehaussée d’or à la feuille. Belle composition, dans un parfait état de conservation. ‎

‎Full page miniature painting on vellum. Vellum size 225 x 334 mm. Miniature size 210 x 260 mm.‎

‎".: Miniature painting representing the Annunciation.: angel Gabriel on the left side; Mary opposite. With the white dove . Gabriel holding a stick with a banner '' Ave [ ] gracia plena dom[inus[ tecum''. The miniature has a painted frame , width 25 mm, consisting of an inner and an outer gilt section, in the middle a black painted section. (the ''gilt'' sections are heightened with muschel gold). A curious detail of the frame is a painted pendant in the form of a cross or sword hilt (45 mm long) extending from the centre of the lower end of the frame. Based upon the interpretation of the style of a pendant miniature (representing Saint-Martin) and without any further arguments we tend to date this painting as from the 16th c. probably originating from France or the Southern Netherlands; Painted on thick vellum.. Vellum with some ondulations, Some abrasions of the miniature (mainly in the lower part of the picture and some at the painted frame). We acquired this miniature painting together with a pendant of Saint-Martin. Saint-Martin is described as another item (see under Saint-Martin. Price for the two items: 3000,00 Euro. ‎".: Miniature painting representing Saint-Martin on a white horse engaged with a half naked beggar, wearing only a loin cloth; and a dressed a begger holding a begger bowl . The miniature has a painted frame , width 25 mm, consisting of an inner and an outer gilt section, in the middle a black painted section. (the ''gilt'' sections are heightened with muschel gold). A curious detail of the frame is a painted pendant in the form of a cross or sword hilt (45 mm long) extending from the centre of the lower end of the frame. Saint-Martin is wearing an elegent bonnet with a very long feather, The collar of his coat is ermine. Without further arguments we tend to date this painting as from the 16th c. probably originating from France or the Southern Netherlands; On the recto side of vellum is a manuscript list or schedule pertaining to services to be executed by monks in an abbey (unidentified). Text in French, dated 1703.. Painted on thick vellum.. Vellum with some ondulations, Some abrasions of the miniature (rare in the picture, mainly at the painted frame). We acquired this miniature painting together with a pendant of the Annunciation. The Annunciation is described as another item (see under Annunciation). Price for the two items: 3000,00 Euro.
