‎Paris, Librairie des Contemporains, 1869 ; in-18, 64 pp. (manque le frontispice), broché (quelques petites rousseurs). Eugène de Mirecourt (le nom de sa ville natale) est le pseudonyme de Jacquot. L’auteur fut l'inventeur du terme littéraire «nègre». Il qualifia ainsi les collaborateurs de Alexandre Dumas, pour critiquer la «fabrique à romans» de ce dernier. Ses portraits font parti de la série la Galerie des Contemporains. 3ème édition. Montalembert fut le théoricien du catholicisme libéral. Bon état.‎
