‎Everything Architecture by Office Kersten Geers David Van Severen in BOZAR ‎

‎Brussels, Bozar , 2016 Original publishers paper-covered boards, 16 pages, Illustrated.30x20cm.‎

‎Exhibition 'Everything Architecture' by Office Kersten Geers David Van Severen in BOZAR The Brussels-based Office Kersten Geers David Van Severen brings architecture back to the essentials: with a limited set of basic rules a framework is created within which life in all its complexity can be played out. The point of departure for the exhibition Everything Architecture is the idea that each and every one of their products is a project in itself. Models, drawings and perspectives created by the architects are displayed in the antechambers of the Centre for Fine Arts, together with works of art that are related to the spirit and language of this firm of architects. These works of art are more than sources of inspiration. They delve deeper into the ambiguity of representation and abstraction. Crucially important is the way in which the works are seen to inter-relate, both spatially and in terms of content. Office Kersten Geers David Van Severen were appointed as curators and architects of the 25th Biennale Interieur in Kortrijk in 2016. They recently won Berlin Art Prize - Architecture 2016.‎

‎Don McCullin: Life and Death and everything in between.‎

‎
Life, Death and Everything in Between présente des photographies clés de Don McCullin.

– Simon Baker

//

Life, Death and Everything in Between presents key photographs by Don McCullin. The 140 images in the book—some rarely published or previously unseen—were edited by McCullin through the process of revisiting his archives and reassessing photographs made from the late 1950s until last year. The book aims to be neither a retrospective nor definitive publication, but to present a selection of images valued by McCullin with the benefits of both hindsight and wisdom, encapsulating his prolific, varied and ongoing career.

The book opens with McCullin’s documentary photographs made in London in the 1950s, followed by reportage made in conflicts across Europe, Africa, the Middle East and South-East Asia. More recent photographs in the book link the legacy of the Roman Empire in the Mediterranean and the latest, previously unpublished landscapes made near his home in Somerset.
Londres, 2023 GOST 224 p., nombreuses photographies, relié toile éditeur. 28,5 x 36,5‎
