Lettre autographe signée « B », rédigée au crayon et adressée au compositeur américain Eugène Kurtz. 2 Mai [1974], 1 p. et demie in-4. Enveloppe conservée avec adresse et marques postales.
Très belle lettre relative à « The last Contrabass in Las Vegas », œuvre composée par Eugène Kurtz, pour ses amis les époux Turetsky. Cette première interprétation à l’école a été un véritable succès. « UCSC and ECD flipped out over the Last Contrabass ! It is simply a winner and in fact, we played it for a 4th grade 6 (in del mar) and they too were absolutely enthralled is what can tell you. It's a smash !! Nancy does it very well… ». Devant un tel succès, il espère pouvoir organiser de nombreuses interprétations en France en Mars « hoping we can cook us some radio/concert in France for march and i am beginning set up a real nifty tour ».

C’est avec humour qu’il débute sa lettre en comparant les difficultés qu’il a rencontré pour l’organisation des évènements au rectum de Dieu « And then it dawned on me that I was most likely in God's rectum ». Il poursuit en lui indiquant des modifications importantes à propos des dates auxquelles Kurtz doit interpréter son œuvre « ÇA ». « ... will be performed on february 3th and not on february 10th as originally planned. The chamber Symphony and the rest of the pieces will be permormed on february 5th, in the afternoon and THE LAST CONTRABASS IN LAS VEGAS will be premiered also on the 5th at the 8 p.m concert.
