Exceedingly rare first edition of this early medical tract dysentery specifically for the rural population offering simple instructions on how to respond to an occurrence ofdysentery and how it might be treated with appropriate remedies.Frederik Otto Briand de Crèvecoeur (1710–1776) was a Danish physician born in Berlin. He studied medicine and surgery in Helmstedt and Copenhagen receiving his medical degree in 1748. He practised in Aarhus from 1741 and was appointed Landfysikus (district physician) of Jutland in 1742 and of the Diocese of Aarhus in 1766. We have not been able to trace a single copy in the trade, nor in libraries.
