‎Rare first Danish translation of Knutzen’s highly popular work in natural theology originally published under the title “Philosophischer Beweis von der Wahrheit der christlichen Religion” in 1740, a work that was directed primarily against English deists and went through five editions before 1763. Martin Knutzen (1713 - 1751) was a German philosopher and teacher of Immanuel Kant to whom he introduced the physics of Isaac Newton. Biblioteca Danica I, 178.‎
