""LA"" in gilt lettering to both front and back board. Previous owner's name, John Barratt (1693) in contemporary hand to verso of front board. Wear to extremities, with scratches and a few holes to to boards. Head of spine chipped with some loss of leather, upper part of front hinge split. Worm tract to lower margin of first leaves and a few marginal dampstains throughout, first and last leaves browned and and loss of paper in margin. Wanting the engraved title-page and possibly a frontispiece, all separate title-pages present. (12), 1111 pp.
