Third enlarge edition of Lyser's defence of polygamy. His work caused an outcry throughout Europe and the work was subsequently banned. The first edition of ""Polygamia"" was printed 1674 and the second in 1676. Johann Lyser (1631-84?), was a lutheran minister from Leipzig, who - not surprisingly - never married.Thesaurus 547 Bibl Dan. I, 616 Brunet I, 160
