Boards made like frames w. gilt decoratins in corners and gilt lines making a large centre of the calf framed, this piece of the calf is a bit lighter brown than the rest of the boards. Back richly gilt. Bdg. w. traces of use. Hinges cracked at top. Somewhat brownspotted. Lithographed t-p. loose. Richly illustr. w. frontispiece and numerous woodcuts in text, by Johannot.‎
