Après l'armistice de 1918, et sur intervention auprès du ministère des Armées afin de rendre hommage aux bataillons algériens, Dinet, en collaboration avec son ami Sliman ben Ibrahim, écrit et illustre La Vie de Mohammed, prophète d'Allah publié par Piazza, dont les enluminures sont de Mohammed Racim.
