Notre exemplaire est ici enrichi de 31 gravures sous serpentes, dont 8 en couleurs, provenant d'autres ouvrages anglais. En frontispice se trouve ainsi un portrait de Shelley datant de 1833. La reliure fut commandée par le libraire Brentano (pour lui-même ?) à New York au relieur Bayntun à Bath. Celui-ci, installé en 1894 dans l'atelier de Riviere, a signé en bas du contreplat et a indiqué Brentano. New York en haut. Reliure signée Georges Bayntun, plein maroquin rouge, dos à nerfs orné, plats décorés de filets dorés et d'une plaque à froid, tranches dorées. Dos légèrement insolé, papier assez épais, très léger jaunissement général. Superbe exemplaire, "extra illustrated".
