Accedit tabularum editio nova. apud Langerak/Verbeek, Leidae Batavorum, 1744. In folio (mm. 385x250), 2 volumi (testo e tavv.), p. pergamena coeva (aloni a un piatto), tit. oro al dorso (uno con picc. manc.), tagli azzurri, cc.nn. 4, pp.num. 28, 275 (mal numer. 277),(3), titolo in rosso e nero al frontespizio con bella vignetta inc. in rame da Wandelaar; ornato da grandi capilettera e finali. Le 47 tavole anatomiche dell'Eustachi, descritte dall'Albino e con le sue importanti annotazioni, sono qui presenti in duplice stato: al tratto e in chiaroscuro, per un totale di 89 tavv., tutte inc. in rame da Jan Wandelaar. Queste celebri tavole dell'Eustachi, completate nel 1552, non furono mai stampate all'epoca. Soltanto nel 1714 furono pubblicate grazie all'interessamento del grande anatomico Lancisi. Blake 139. – Wellcome II, 26. – Zweite von Albinus bearbeitete und kommentierte Ausgabe der «Tabulae anatomica» von Eustachius. Hier zum zweiten Mal mit den Umrissradierungen gegenüber den Kupferstichen. Die Nummerierung und Alphabetisierung der anatomischen Abbildungen wurde 1734 von Albinus in Zusammenarbeit mit seinem Graphiker J. Wandelaar erstmals angewendet. – Einband stark bestossen und berieben. Lederbezug am Rücken und am Deckel stellenweise abgeplatzt. In der oberen rechten Ecke mit durchgehendem Wasserrand. Leichte Feuchtigkeitsspuren im Innenfalz. Eine Tafel stark angerändert und mit mehreren Einrissen ausserhalb der Darstellung. Titel gestempelt «Karl Ferdinand Suadicani» (siehe Hirsch V, 576). – Résumé: Second edition arranged and commented by Albinus. This edition with line etching opposite the copper-plate engravings in cooperation with the artist J. Wandelaar. With 89 copper-plates. Contemporary half calf ( leather cover detachments, rubbed and bumped). 1 plate with tears. Title stamped «Karl Ferdinand Suadicani» (Hirsch V, 576).
