London, printed for J. Rivington, T. Calson and R. Withy, 1766. 2 parties en un volume in-12 de [2]-XXII-303; XLVIII-IV-II-IV128-[6-index] pages, pleine basane mouchetée, dos muet à 5 nerfs orné de filets dorés, double filet doré encadrant les plats, roulette à froid sur les coupes.
Illustré de 16 planches hors-texte dont 2 frontispices (12, dont 2 planches de musique+4), et de 17 gravures in-texte, dont16 représentant des poissons, tous dans la première partie. Beaux bandeaux, lettrines et culs-de-lampe. La première partie fut écrite (en dix ans…) par Izaak Walton, la seconde par Charles Cotton, grand ami de pêche de Walton, et que d'aucun considèrent comme le père de la pêche à la mouche moderne. Reliure frottée, premier plat presque totalement détaché (à restaurer), quelques rares rousseurs. Avec un feuillet de réclame pour les livres imprimés par Withy relié avant le frontispice.

Das Papier im Schnitt gebräunt, einige Tafeln mit Einrissen. Das erste gedruckte Blatt mit einem alten handschr. Besitzereintrag. Der Einband berieben und bestossen. Die Einbandgelenke angeplatzt.
